Sigale Speaks at Annual GRPC Event

David G. Sigale recently addressed the many attendees at the Second Amendment Foundation’s annual Gun Rights Policy Conference, which was held this year in Phoenix, Arizona. Sigale spoke on updates to Illinois firearm laws and lawsuits, including the pending challenge to the State’s assault weapon ban which is currently in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the many problems stemming from the widespread FOID revocations that have been taking place by law enforcement loosely and wrongfully invoking the State’s “clear and present danger” statute. The Firm will continue to represent individuals so affected, and will continue to challenge such revocations when this power is arbitrarily and improperly exercised.

Congratulations are also in order to the Illinois State Rifle Association which won the Grassroots Organization of the Year award at this year’s GRPC. As counsel for the ISRA, the Firm knows firsthand the hard work ISRA does to further Second Amendment rights for Illinoisans by means of litigation and lobbying efforts, both on large scale and individual issues.
