The Court Agrees With Sigale in Deerfield Case

Sigale wins another battle in Illinois. The Illinois Second District Appellate Court dismissed an appeal by the Village of Deerfield over its semi-automatic rifle and large capacity magazine ban.  The Court agreed with the Law Firm of David G. Sigale that the Court lacked jurisdiction, because the status of the case was not appropriate for appeal.  Sigale has also argued that any future attempts to appeal will also be invalid, and will be prepared to fight such a filing should one occur.

“We were delighted to once again be working with our good friends at the Illinois State Rifle Association. Together with David Sigale, we make a pretty good team”, SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb stated. You can read more about the case in the press release by Second Amendment Foundation and the Illinois Rifle Association.
